About

“Buy less. Choose well. Make it last.”

Vivienne Westwood

I have always loved the idea of making my own clothes. There is something so rewarding about spending time and energy producing something that is both beautiful and practical.

Recently, I’ve become more aware of how the choices we make about what we wear impacts the world around us. The “fast fashion” trend of the last decade has resulted in my closet stuffed to the brim with clothes – most of which I don’t actually wear. And likely aren’t going to last more than a few washes.

To me, slow fashion means making clothes from sustainably, ethically sourced materials that are made to last. The items I knit are pieces that I’m proud of, and I know will be well-worn and well-loved. I hope that this blog inspires patterns and ideas to help others create beautiful knitwear that is made to last.
