Three Free Knit Pumpkin Patterns

  • September 28, 2020December 15, 2020

Knit pumpkins are the perfect fall accent to add a touch of cozy to your pace. And the best part? They are incredibly easy to make!

Here’s a roundup of three of my favorite free patterns online.

Yarn Punk Small Knit Decorative Pumpkin

I made these yarn pumpkins from Yarn Punk for my Etsy shop this fall. They were the first item to sell out! Not only is this an easy pattern to follow, but it is also a quick one.

This knit pumpkin pattern from Handy Little Me has more of a farmhouse look than the rest I’ve seen online. The pattern uses a stick for the stem of the pumpkin and also ties a piece of twine around the stem for a rustic look.

Mama in a Stitch Chunky Pumpkin Free Knitting Pattern

🍂 Don’t go into the stores or you’ll want to cover every surface of your home in pumpkins. 🎃 That’s what happened to me this weekend, so I went home and made these two super speedy little guys. 🍁😆 I shared the (free) crochet pattern for the white one over on the blog and it took me under 30 minutes to make! I hadn’t yet seen a super bulky crocheted pumpkin pattern and I wanted to crochet this really quickly. 💨 It ended up working out great! 🙌 I’ll be sharing the knitting pattern also in the coming days (that’s the tan one you see). The knit version took me under two hours! Yay! Gosh, I love those fast projects. 🍂 Happy “dreaming of fall season!” XO Jessica #crochet #knitting #crochetlove #knittinglove #yarn #yarnlove #handmade #pumpkins #craft #ontheblog #fall #halloween

This is a great pattern to use if you want a thicker look for your pumpkin. Mama in a Stitch has tons of free patterns available on their website.
