Top Knitting Blogs to Follow in 2020
I can easily spend hours scrolling through Pinterest looking at knitting and yarn. After countless hours wasted on the internet, I’ve found a few blogs that I regularly go back to for inspiration, ideas and patterns. Enjoy this list of a few of my favorites!
Mirella Moments

Mirella Moments is a great resource for knit and crochet patterns. I knit the headband above using their Headband in English Rib with a Twist pattern. The pattern also includes a video tutorial. I’m very much a visual learner, so I found the video just as helpful as the written pattern.
Purl Soho

Purl Soho is technically a business, not a blog. But they have many excellent free patterns, so I think they deserve a mention on this list. They are my go-to resource to find beautiful new stitches to incorporate into my next project. The scarf above was adapted from their Easy Mistake Stitch Scarf pattern. In addition to free patterns, you can also find beautiful yarns and knitting tools.
The Hook Nook

The Hook Nook is a community of makers started by Jessica Carey and has tons of beautiful project inspiration. The blog section of the site includes patterns, tips and inspiration for fiber arts. Although I don’t crochet, I recently discovered this blog through the new line of The Hook Nook products at Joann Fabrics. I immediately fell in love with their Yummy yarn line. Naturally, The Hook Nook blog is a great place to find project ideas for their yarn line.
Two of Wands
If you are on Pinterest and have ever searched for a knitting or crochet pattern, you have likely seen content from Two of Wands. This site has SO much to explore. I especially enjoy the Purposeful Pattern series. $1 from each pattern in the series is donated to a charitable cause. I highly recommend following Two of Wands on social media for inspiration.
